Staff Product Manager (Kiosk)

 

Position Details 
 
 
The mission of the Kiosk product team is to deliver the most user-friendly trade-in experience to the millions of people who interact with our kiosks across the US. You will help us achieve this goal by identifying and executing opportunities to improve the UX of our kiosks at the intersection of software and hardware. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Serve as the resident expert on our kiosk experience.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement through data and qualitative feedback.
  • Work collaboratively with cross functional teams to create a product roadmap of strategic initiatives.
  • Manage the entire software product lifecycle from kick off to post launch monitoring.
  • Evangelize the product roadmap and report on progress to ensure accountability.
  • Define product success metrics and evaluate financial impact tradeoffs 
  • Clearly communicate product release plans, benefits and results, to internal stakeholders  

Education & Experience

  • 8+ years of software product management experience with a focus on user experiences delivered via a kiosk or similar environment.
  • Experience delivering revenue enhancing products in a B2C product
  • Ability to make tradeoffs and prioritization in a resource constrained environment 
  • Experience developing and presenting business cases for executive leadership decision
  • Track record of partnering with stakeholders in designing and executing experiments
  • Experience of working in high velocity Agile teams alongside with Software Engineers, UI/UX and QA Engineers taking ownership of translating Product roadmaps to epic and details user stories is a must.

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
 

  • Proven track record of working in a “product-led” environment, taking ownership of not just delivering software features, but also achieving product outcomes
  • Deep knowledge of Agile/Scrum software development environment
  • Familiarity with tools including JIRA, Confluence, Tableau, Figma, Optimizely or similar tools required 
  • Excellent communication skills – Ability to present the same product initiative to different audiences – ranging from executives, to engineers, to operations staff.
  • Curiosity – To understand the What and Why of how things work today and craft a compelling vision for the future.
  • Ability to create clarity from vague inputs.
  • Analytic and Strategic – You can explain the importance of an initiative from a strategic (qualitative) lens and through business cases (quantitative)
