Mechanical Dynamics and Analysis LLC a world class supplier of power generation services, parts, and repairs, has immediate openings for qualified individuals who have a desire to join a growing organization and an appetite for diverse and technically challenging work.

MD&A's Turbine and Generator Controls Division is actively seeking a qualified Project Manager to oversee both ongoing and new projects, with a primary focus on major power plant controls and excitation projects. In addition, this role will oversee ongoing Research and Development projects. We offer a competitive base salary along with significant opportunities for incentive compensation.

 
Responsibilities:

• Pre and Post Job Meetings: Run pre and post job meetings that may require travel to the site.
• Financial Management: Maintain and manage project costs.
• Reporting: Provide timely status updates, metrics, and  comprehensive reports to upper management as required.
• Project Scheduling: Effectively manage project schedules, including on-site and in-house employee scheduling.
• Document Management: Organize and review project drawings and documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Customer Job Support: Schedule and support customer job  requirements, and lead all customer and internal team communications
• Process Optimization: Continuously work on process optimization, eliminating non-value-added work.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 4 years' experience with Turbine Controls equipment, with a preference for on-site experience.
• Experience  with manufacturers such as General Electric, Westinghouse, Alstom, Dresser-Rand, and control systems from GE, Emerson, Woodward, and Basler is preferred.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree (BA) from a four-year college or university; or at least 10 years of related experience and/or training; or  an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Multi-Tasking: Ability to multi-task and manage various project  elements simultaneously.
• Skills: Proficient in leadership, communication, organization, attention to detail, troubleshooting, planning, budgeting, time management, negotiating, risk management, and team building.
