Job Description Summary
Manufacturing Technician is responsible for the production operation and preventative maintenance of manufacturing equipment of the Cesium and Parylene deposition areas. Processing x-ray imagers through appropriate fixturing and thermal evaporation vacuum chambers. Lamination of Optical reflector material onto CsI deposited imagers. Prepare and maintain inventory of consumable materials. They will be collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams including engineering, EHS, QA, and other production teams to achieve site goals.This role is for 1st shift, Sunday - Thursday ~7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Performs manufacturing and maintenance work from detailed work instructions and operational method sheets.
Maintains daily production output with accurate records of the work performed and other records as may be required by management.
Make limited decisions within the confines of quality and safety approved procedures, with guidance.
Mainly performing production work and may be dependent upon others for non-standard work. Flexibility and adaptability expected.
Setup and operate measurement equipment
Complies with all EHS, Training and Quality procedures and policies
Perform routine troubleshooting of process or equipment. Brings equipment irregularities to the attention of the supervisor.
Use Lean tools to improve established processes and metrics in daily work. Participates in Action Workouts and Kaizen events.
Make acquired skills or knowledge available to others; train others on manufacturing processes.
All other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Associates degree in Applied Sciences (or local equivalent 2 year degree/Technical Certification) from an accredited college/university. OR a High School diploma (or GED local equivalent) and 2 years technical experience in relevant industry.
Proficiency to understand and interpret basic written technical information.
Demonstrated ability to work well with general direction and information.
Demonstrated proficiency to utilize computerized work. (Proficient in MS Office Suite)
Effective verbal and written communication skills with teammates, management, and across functions.
Being able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.
Ability to work in a clean room environment including wearing the required PPE for long periods of time.
Preferred Qualifications
Basic knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing process.
Demonstrated experience working in quality-controlled environment, specifically FDA-regulated medical product manufacturing or another relevant environment.
Demonstrated strong problem-solving / equipment troubleshooting skills.
Mechanical, facilities and/or maintenance experience.
Experience working in a cleanroom environment.
Lean / Six Sigma experience.
