What You’ll Do

We are seeking a highly qualified candidate to join our Information Technology Group which is responsible for managing our IT Infrastructure. To serve as the Datacenter & Network Architect you will design and implement information systems that support IT infrastructure. This position is for Datacenter and Network System Architect. As system architect, one will define the next generation architecture of the Datacenter and network, lead new technology research, study market trends. Although the position is primarily hardware based; the candidate must interface with lab department, working solution groups, server, storage, mechanical, thermal, layout, network. Candidates must have strong knowledge in Datacenter and network design.

Location: Hybrid, working onsite at our San Jose, CA headquarters 3 days a week, with the flexibility to work remotely the remainder of your time the remainder of your time.

  • Design, build and operate the optimal datacenter and server rooms. Participate in the ongoing new datacenter and server room design project
  • Coordinate datacenter and network services for new research lab and changes
  • Monitor datacenter operations and environmental controls to ensure uninterrupted service
  • Identifying and managing the current status of assets related to data centers and networks
  • Utilize datacenter and network management best practices and tools to investigate and resolve related performance issues
  • Identify and manage the overall status of the datacenter, network and related services. Establish an optimal management process
  • Define and document architectural standards, patterns, and best practices for datacenter and network, related solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including server, storage, network, security, and operations, to ensure seamless integration of solutions into the overall IT ecosystem
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in datacenter and network

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's with 5+ years of relevant industry experience, or Masters with 3+ years or PhD in Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical field preferred.
  • Bi-lingual language (Korean & English) is preferred for communications with Korea
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a datacenter and network administration
  • Experience in participating in and promoting new datacenter construction projects
  • Proficiency in networking topologies, setup, and testing high speed networks commonly used in data center environments
  • Ability to identify complex problems, review information to develop and evaluate options, then propose solutions is imperative
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft office, including skills with Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Experience in customer support or quality assurance is a plus
