Providence is calling an Surgical Technician, General Surgery who will:
- Under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse Circulator maintain the operating room sterile field
- Pass instruments, sutures, and sponges during surgery
- Insures that proper aseptic technique is utilized to prevent contamination and infection. Assists the registered nurse with circulating duties.
Please note the following important details regarding this role:
- Work Status Available: Full Time
- Shifts Available: Day
- Work Schedule: Weekends and Weekdays
- This is an onsite role that will report into the hospital daily, as scheduled.
- Hiring Bonus: Providence is offering up to a $15,000 Hiring Bonus for eligible candidates who meet all conditions for payment - this is in addition to the fantastic benefits and compensation package offered by Providence that begin on your first day of employment.
Positions specified as “on call/per diem” refer to employment consisting of shifts scheduled on an “as needed basis” to fill in for staff vacancies.
Required qualifications for this position include:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technology or Armed Services Surgical Technology program
- National Certified Surgical Technologist - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting -OR- National Tech in Surgery - Certified - National Center for Competency Testing
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
