Körber Parcel Logistics is a global leader in Mail & Parcel logistics and offers the most innovative solutions worldwide. We are on a tremendous growth path in the dynamic US market and are seeking a talented Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team of entrepreneurs at our location in the Dallas Fort Worth area.

 

Your role in our team

  • You will work in a collaborative and team-based environment.
  • Use your knowledge of electrical power engineering fundamentals to help Körber Supply Chain deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.
  • You will be part of a group of highly committed professionals who provide expertise and ensure the success of engineering projects and programs.
  • You will learn and assist in the entire life cycle of projects, from requirements engineering to final deployment.
  • You will develop, prepare, and implement electrical designs/systems to ensure that current standards and customer requirements are followed.
  • You will prepare technical documentation, including electrical models, device layouts, Network drawings, schematics, BOM, etc.
  • You will order electrical parts and will be working with distributors.
  • You will be involved in the design process from the initial layouts to the final As-Built drawings.

 

Your profile

  • You have obtained a bachelor's degree or higher in electrical engineering.
  • You have gained 5+ years of experience designing electrical power panels and power distribution systems for industrial automation equipment.
  • You know regulatory standards for industrial equipment - UL, CSA, NFPA, IEC, etc.- and have the experience to apply that knowledge to designing power systems for industrial equipment.
  • You know safety standards for industrial equipment – ISO, OSHA, ANSI, NFPA, etc., and the experience to apply that knowledge to designing safety systems for industrial equipment.
  • You have experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD creating schematics for power panels and wiring harnesses.
  • You have experience in component selection for electrical power panels including motor controls and motor selection.
  • You can travel domestically and internationally (up to 25%).
  • You have good oral and verbal communication, reporting, and writing skills.
  • You will work locally, in a hybrid work environment.
