The Cell Leader (CL) is an onsite role in McKinney, TX and involves direct supervision of manufacturing activities spending significant amounts of time in and around factory areas. The Cell Leader is responsible for executing to operational metrics with focus on driving overall team performance in safety, quality, delivery, and cost. . The Cell Leader will drive and lead continuous improvement projects.

What You Will Do

• The Cell Leader is responsible for the supervision and oversight of mechanical assemblers and test technicians in the production of integrated systems, subassemblies, and sustainment (depot) units.

• Provides a safe work environment and actively engaging in safety improvement projects. Responsible for ensuring finished parts meet contractual quality, cost, and delivery requirements. 

• Responsible for employee hiring and training, time and attendance tracking, and ensuring compliance of company policies and procedures.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years’ experience.

• Experience managing a manufacturing, planning, scheduling, finance, operations, or similar environments

• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Qualifications We Prefer

• Proficient in Shop Floor Management tool CMES & SAP

• LEAN Factory Management Principles

• Demonstrated ability to work in a team based cross-functional environment.

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Strong team and individual developmental skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision

• CORE Certification

• Active Security Clearance

• Master’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or related discipline

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
