Job Description

The Production Technician is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring efficient warehouse operations, and supporting the overall supply chain process. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular inventory audits.
  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments.
  • Organize and store inventory in designated locations within the warehouse.
  • Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies/parts as needed.
  • Coordinate with other departments to fulfill orders and manage stock levels.
  • Perform procurement activities such as obtaining vendor information, proposals, and creating purchase orders
  • Utilize inventory management software to track and update inventory data.
  • Conduct periodic physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley, all safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of inventory control procedures.
  • Provide support in other warehouse operations as needed.
  • Other task as deemed necessary by management.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, climb ladders, and stairs as required.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license required.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

  • Physical requirements include the possibility of standing on feet for extended periods of time requiring stair and ladder climbing.
  • Wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as determined by plant policies and procedures.
  • Position may require working extended hours, weekends and holidays from time to time as deemed necessary by plant manager.
  • Ability to drive forklifts and other mobile equipment.
  • All employees will participate in the Fitness for Duty Program.  This program includes a post-offer physical examination and drug screening. There are extensive smoking restrictions in and around the facility.

We offer a competitive salary of up to $44.57 per hour, commensurate with experience, education, and skills. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
