About the role

Using a team approach, promotes positive working relationships with physicians, co-workers, vendors, patients and families to ensure a productive working atmosphere evident through positive comments and recognition. Assists Charge Nurse in efficiently managing the daily schedule, communication with ancillary departments and outside service providers. Oversight, management and appropriate actions taken in relation to incoming information, unforeseen variables and urgent matters associated with a level II trauma hospital O.R. Management of work flow to ensure daily objectives met in a demanding and constantly shifting environment. Excellence in execution of administrative functions listed below to ensure smooth, professional and appropriate operation of the control desk in alignment with hospital standards and values.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3 years Office experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training: College/vocational training in business related field.
  • Experience in position of related field.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
