About the role

Williams Lea is hiring for a Senior Audio Visual Associate for our Boston office to work Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm!

Pay: $25.65 - $27.00/hour.

Job qualifications 

  • High school diploma or equivalent. 

  • Minimum 2-3 years audio visual services experience preferably in a legal, banking or large corporate environment 

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience working with and troubleshooting audio and video equipment  

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment  

  • Ability to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadlines  

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  

  • Must be able to communicate and interact effectively with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds 

  • Exceptional customer service skills in order to create, maintain and enhance customer relationships 

  • Basic computer skills required 

  • Ability to handle sensitive and/or confidential documents and information 

  • Able to make independent decisions that conform to business needs and policy 

  • Good problem solving skills, with the ability and understanding of when to escalate a problem to a supervisory level. 

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written 

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.  

Job duties

  • *Set- up and break down meeting conferencing equipment: laptops, projectors, telephones, starphones, plasma screens and other media equipment 

  • *Set-up and break down video-conferencing equipment  

  • *Troubleshoot and correct operational glitches  

  • Communicate with manager and client on job or deadline issues.  

  • *Connect different media formats such as DVI, VGA. Component video, S-video, connect video to multiple inputs. Connect audio ports¸ speakers.  

  • *Connect desktop, laptop to AV\teleconference devices.  

  • *Connect end users to video conference point to point or multipoint.  

  • *Connect devices to network (LAN )  

  • Instruct users in operation if necessary.
