Job Summary

  • Madisonville Community College (MCC) is a five-campus institution centrally located along I-69 corridor in beautiful rural Western Kentucky that serves Muhlenberg, Caldwell, Webster, and Crittenden Counties. MCC is one of sixteen institutions in the Kentucky Community and Technical College System and awards certificates, diplomas, and associate degrees in liberal arts and technical education. Job Duties:

  • • To become proficient in multiple delivery methods including face-to-face day and evening, hybrid, accelerated, and online course modalities and may require travel to multiple campuses or teaching sites.
    • Possess professionalism and exemplary communication and presentation skills.
    • Foster an active and inclusive learning environment and utilizing our learning management system (Blackboard) for communication and feedback.
    • Possess a strong commitment to student learning and will be receptive to using active and engaged teaching methods and technology in the classroom.
    • Demonstrate an interest in the mission of the comprehensive community college concept.
    • Demonstrate an interest in the mission of the Radiography Program concept.
    • Participate in team teaching and curriculum development
    • Participate in department and college committee assignments, student advising, community service, and professional development activities

Minimum Qualifications:

  • • Holds a bachelor’s degree
    • Holds current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification and registration, or equivalent (an unrestricted Kentucky state license) in radiography
    • Documents 2 years of clinical experience in the professional discipline
    • Documents 1 year experience as an instructor in a JRCERT-accredited program (preferred)
    • Proficient in curriculum development, supervision, instruction, evaluation, and academic advising
