DevOps Track Sr.Engineer

Job Description Experience:

• 7+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities Cloud DevOps Engineering & Automation

• Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC):
  • Build automation using IaC tools like Terraform to accelerate development for end users programmatically.
• DevOps & CI/CD Tooling:
  • Strong knowledge of modern DevOps tools such as GitHub, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps (ADO), etc., to provision infrastructure resources and prevent configuration drift.
• Technology Evaluation:
  • Assess new cloud automation technologies and vendor products.
  • Provide recommendations to leadership for integration into DevOps frameworks, including Terraform Cloud for workspace and state management.
• Collaboration:
  • Work closely with product teams, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure cloud technologies align with product roadmaps and well-architected frameworks.
• Issue Resolution:
  • Investigate and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues.
  • Develop solutions, document reengineering processes, and provide recommendations as needed.
• IT Service Management (ITSM):
  • Participate in ITSM processes such as change management, incident handling, and general requests for Azure Cloud Platform support in business-as-usual (BAU) operations.

Security Engineering

• Policy-as-Code (PaC):
  • Develop and enforce PaC for Azure cloud environments to configure, detect, remediate, and enforce security standards.
• Security Policies:
  • Define and implement security policies based on CIS/NIST industry benchmarks.
• Vulnerability Remediation:
  • Support remediation of security vulnerabilities using cloud posture management and ITSM tools in accordance with service level agreements (SLAs).
• Cloud Security Posture Management:
  • Manage, configure, enhance, and operate platforms like Wiz or Prisma Cloud for pre-deployment scanning of IaC code to protect infrastructure.

Key Skills

• Expertise in Terraform and IaC automation.
• Strong knowledge of GitHub, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD tooling.
• Experience with Azure Cloud Platform and ITSM processes.
• Ability to define and enforce Policy-as-Code (PaC) for cloud environments.
• Familiarity with security benchmarks like CIS/NIST.
• Proficiency in cloud security posture management tools such as Wiz or Prisma Cloud.
• Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills.
