JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Systems Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization’s information technology systems. Your responsibilities will span across various domains, including IT infrastructure. Additionally, your involvement in projects and excellent communication skills will contribute to the overall success of the IT team.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Infrastructure Support and Implementation:

• Assess existing systems, troubleshoot issues, and provide effective solutions, including IT infrastructure solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
• Cover Windows servers, file shared server,  HP & IBM storage, HP Synergy Enclosure and virtualization platforms.

Active Directory and Identity Management:

• Manage Hybrid AD services (On-premise and AZURE AD), user accounts, group policies, and domain controllers.
• Implement Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions.

Virtualization and Cloud Services:

• Administer VMware vSphere 7.0, deploy/manage VMs, and handle Horizon virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI).
• Work with cloud services (e.g., Azure, AWS route 53) for hybrid or fully cloud-based solutions.

Backup and Security:

• Manage VEEAM backup, test disaster recovery procedures.
• To ensure all updates and associated actions required as a result of audits are tracked by IT Compliance and completed within the required time frame such as Server Hardening process.

Collaboration Tools and Monitoring:

• Support M365 applications (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams).
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents.

Vendor Management, Automation, and Documentation:

• Collaborate with vendors for procurement and project coordination.
• Develop PowerShell scripts for routine tasks.
• Maintain technical documentation.

REQUIREMENTS:

WHO YOU ARE:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent.
• At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• 1 Full-Time position(s) available.
• Quick learner with technical aptitude.
• Strong communication skills.
• Intermediate networking knowledge (VLAN, etc.).
• Ability to work with batch and PowerShell scripts.
• Experience collaborating with onsite and offshore vendors for daily operations, project coordination, and cross-functional teamwork.
