The Strategic Planning Team
As a part of the larger Company Operations organization, the Strategic Planning team delivers work across both in-year company operating rhythms and long-term strategic planning. The team is responsible for driving Company Portfolio governance / oversight, C-Level operating rhythms, cross-company strategic planning, and global expansion process improvement.
The Senior Analyst Opportunity
Okta is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Analyst to join our Strategic Planning team. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting the development and execution of Okta’s multi-year Strategic Planning process, global compliance roadmap, global expansion process, and in-year operating rhythms. This is a unique opportunity to work cross-functionally with Go-To-Market, Finance, Engineering, Product, Security, and Operations teams, aligning across teams to achieve our near-term and long-term company strategy.
What you’ll be doing
- Research & Analysis: Conduct research and analysis of industry trends, competitive landscapes, and internal data to support development of new market and compliance regulation business cases, strategic planning outputs, and multi-year roadmaps
- Strategic Planning Execution: Build and manage strategic planning templates, timelines, and trackers to support company-wide planning processes. Develop playbooks and best practice documentation
- Executive Reporting and Planning Synthesis: Synthesize planning outputs from multiple functions, ensuring clarity and accuracy. Develop high-impact reports and presentations to support leadership decision-making.
- Process Improvement: Proactively identify and implement opportunities to improve planning processes and cross-functional alignment
What you’ll bring to the role
- 2-4+ years of industry and / or consulting experience with a background in business operations, strategy and operations, or strategic planning
- Self-starter who can work effectively in ambiguous environments, demonstrating resourcefulness, adaptability, and creative problem solving skills
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills across all levels of an organization
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and passion for driving cross-functional alignment
- Strong project/program management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay area is between: $111,000—$167,000 USDBelow is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies.
