About the role:

Gartner is looking for a full time Senior Python Developer to join the Corporate Systems Engineering team. As a Python Engineer, you will be developing and configuring SaaS based applications in our HR, Finance and Real Estate systems.

What you will do:

• Lead the integration efforts for the specified applications, ensuring seamless communication and data exchange between systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement effective integration solutions.
• Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure system architectures to meet business needs.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance system performance and integration capabilities.
• Oversee the troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical issues related to application integrations.
• Ensure high availability and optimal performance of all supported applications.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to the software engineering team.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and establish timelines.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of system architectures, integration processes, and technical specifications.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

What you will need:

• At least 5 + years of experience as a Sr Software Engineer or in a similar role, with a focus on application integrations.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming language.
• Well-versed in SaaS applications, including their configurations and integrations.
• Excellent understanding of APIs, web services, and data exchange formats such as REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS and Azure, with familiarity in DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Basic understanding of cloud IAM roles, Active Directory, and OKTA.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Nice to have: Experience with Legal compliance, Real Estate , Variable compensation SaaS application configurations or support.
