Molding Floor Person - 3rd shift (Overnights)

SUMMARY:
Assigned individual will handle housekeeping responsibilities within the Molding Department. They will maintain cleanliness of floors in assigned areas and are responsible for the disposal of waste/trash during their assigned shifts. They are also responsible for the movement of molded components and scrap for assigned area, including the scanning of those materials.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Blow out assigned areas on a daily basis and sweep up parts
- Oil mop production floor daily and communicate large leaks to shift supervisor/lead
- Clean mop assigned areas of the floor daily.
- Clean molding machines, conveyors and auxiliary equipment as assigned or as required.
- Monitor downtime on machines and communicate issues to Process Tech, Lead or Supervisor
- Maintains area with boxes/totes for production based on established guidelines.
- Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases or other containers.
- Scan molding production to warehouse within assigned area
- Empty waist/trash barrels daily
- Accurately complete necessary documentation and ensure accuracy of scanning.
- Adhere to daily molding schedule regarding restarts, shut downs and change overs.
- Relieve associates in assigned area for breaks.
- Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor/lead
- Must follow all work rules and policies.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or GED equivalency
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, percentage, and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to handle problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
