Get to Know The Opportunity:

This position is for a Sr. IT Security Specialist with a Network security and/or a Web security background who will be responsible for managing the strategic roadmap for these areas within Information Security. The candidate will work closely with the VP of Network, Architecture & Cloud Security to understand the strategic direction/maturation goals for the year and as well as the other roadmap owners for the other areas of Information Security to steer the strategic direction of Information Security as a whole. This may also require the candidate to help drive certain high visibility, cross team efforts to completion by collaborating across teams, scheduling calls, identifying milestones, prerequisites and dependencies to completion.

The Contributions You'll Make:

• Will be responsible for the ownership and completion of the Network and Web security roadmaps.
• Work closely with the VP of Network, Architecture & Cloud security to understand the strategic direction for the department and plan/own roadmap items respectively.
• Collaborate with the other roadmap owners for the various departments that make up Information Security to ensure the strategic direction of Information Security is established and followed.
• Collaborate with other IT teams and the business when impacted to establish priority and drive results towards defined objectives.
• Work with multiple levels of management to gain consensus and drive results.
• Ongoing ownership and management of risks and technical dependencies.

Minimum Knowledge & Experience:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Information Security. Network security and/or Web security experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate across many different levels of leadership/technical understanding.
• Motivated self-starter.
• Ability to work well with others to gain consensus

Compensation Pay Disclosure:

Voya is committed to pay that’s fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities.

The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting.

Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
