About the role

The Regional Digital Director will be responsible for all digital sales, renewals, and growth in their designated territory. This role will utilize a consultative and value-based solution-selling approach to provide Encoura solutions to best serve our client’s needs. This role will partner with Regional Data & Research Directors in the territory to identify and prioritize all the college and university sales prospects.

This role will:

  • Develop strategic sales plans 
  • Create custom solutions using Encoura’s platform for clients with an understanding of the enrollment funnel and application deadlines 
  • Present solutions and engage with decision makers 
  • Prospecting and using marketing driven leads 
  • Partner with media and campaign managers to execute campaign 
  • Reporting and overseeing campaign to ensure results and lead to renewals 

A day in the life:

  • Conduct client new & existing business meetings 
  • Manage time to respond the client communications 
  • Create new business proposals 
  • Collaborate with media and campaign managers 
  • Interface with digital operations team via. Monday.com 
  • Update salesforce 
  • Travel to conferences and/or campus visits 

A day in the life:

  • Within 1 month, you’ll: Complete Reginal Director Onboarding, meet your team and shadow your peers, familiarize yourself with the technology and platforms we use   
  • Within 3 months, you’ll: Have begun prospecting within your assigned territory, be comfortable with client discovery meetings, and proficiently write and deliver media plans and proposals  
  • Within 6 months, you'll: Comfortably handle most of your new business and renewal meetings independently, and be tracking your sales goals  
  • Within 1 year, you'll: Be a confident contributor to the team, be an advocate and trusted partner to your clients, and begin presenting at conferences 

About you:

  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM tools as well as Monday.com and Google suite 
  • Strong understanding of digital advertising strategies, tactics, and practices 
  • Presentation skills and deep experience using Microsoft Suite of products 
  • In-person to large groups and via web-based environments 
  • Strong digital marketing and sales background focused on working with clients to craft custom solutions to meet their goals 
  • Experience in selling into the Higher Education market to enrollment, admissions or alumni teams is a plus 
  • Ability to travel about 25% of the time to client meetings, company meetings, and industry tradeshows 
  • 5+ years proven digital sales experience 
  • Proven ability to grow a territory 
  • Bachelor's Degree
