About the Job: The Staff Software Engineer will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions for the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to deliver innovative and scalable software products that meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders. Expertise and leadership will be vital in guiding the team and ensuring best practices in software development.
About the Role: The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Build new features and products for the EasyPost APIOptimize and build back-end services for performance and scaleIntegrate our software with carriers around the world. Participate in code designs, planning meetings, and code reviews. Write high quality software using Go/Python and some RubyAnalyze/debug performance issuesTake ownership of major API features.
About you: Bachelor’s Degree12+ years of related experience, master’s degree and 8+ years of related experience, or equivalent related work experience. Strong experience with Go/Python Experience with REST, HTTP/HTTPS protocols. Ownership of integrating 3rd party APIs a plusStrong desire to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment with multiple releases a day. A passion for working as part of a team - you love connecting and collaborating with others.What We Offer:
