SUMMARY:
The Junior Account Executive is responsible for cultivating and coordinating client relationships. With supervision of the VP of sales and in coordination with Strategic Account directors, this role performs routine inside sales calls to cultivate sales leads with new customers. This position will also assist staff with the development and preparation of technical proposals and presentations for federal, statewide, regional, and commercial sales and business development initiatives. This position is responsible for identifying customer needs in advance of customer purchase and helping customers to develop requirements for Google Maps, Google Cloud, and Sanborn products and services.
Occasional travel may be required.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITES:
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with potential and current business customers.
- Motivated self-starter to identify and cultivate new clients.
- Generate and close strategic sales to meet business development goals.
- Ability to assist with preparation of written technical proposals, reports on business development and related work.
- Interface with sales, project and technical management to understand technical needs in meeting customer requirements.
- Serve as a liaison with customer to meet their requirements.
- Develop relationships with federal, state, and commercial customer’s professional associations.
- Assist with the identification and related action plans designed to identify opportunities, barriers, and appropriate courses of action for business pursuit.
- Input and maintain data in CRM system in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assist with preparation of reports on account status and sales pipeline opportunities and prepare all reports in a timely fashion.
- Attend and represent Sanborn professionally at trade conferences and other business events.
- Other duties as assigned.
