<p>Role Title: Senior Risk Analyst – Model Risk </p> <p>Location: AIB, Molesworth Street, Dublin (Remote working initially – we will have a hybrid approach to working which will include a mix of on-site and remote working)</p> <p> </p> <p>This role is being offered on a permanent basis.</p> <p> </p> <p>Do you want to join the second line of defence Model Risk Team to act as a subject matter expert with primary responsibility for providing advice and guidance on Model Risk activities to the first line business areas? </p> <p> </p> <p><u>Summary of role:</u></p> <p>Enterprise Risk and Strategy is recruiting for a talented analyst to help support the Model Risk team in delivering on a growing agenda. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team that in a measurable way can contribute significantly to the achievement of Enterprise Risk and Strategy and Group Risk’s agenda.</p> <p>Model Risk is one of AIB’s material risks. Our RAS statement defines our appetite and approach to managing Model Risk. The Model Risk team is responsible for Model Risk Governance and Model Oversight.</p> <p>The successful candidate will be required to contribute to the following tasks: </p> <ul> <li>Developing and implementing a robust model risk framework;</li> <li>Managing the committee secretariat, facilitating effective communication and collaboration;</li> <li>Preparing detailed reports for senior management; </li> <li>Collaborating with model developers, validation teams and other stakeholders to ensure effective risk management processes;</li> <li>Managing model risk within the bank’s risk appetite.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>We’re looking for someone who will:</p> <ul> <li>Take a lead role in the development of management information reports which proactively support management of model risk. </li> <li>Develop insight that solves problems and identify opportunities to minimise model risk.</li> <li>Nurture good relationships with stakeholders across the business and support the group in its goal of minimising model risk.</li> <li>Be comfortable challenging stakeholders and senior personnel.</li> <li>Clearly communicate model related issues to technical and non-technical audiences.</li> <li>Be a strong team player with the proven ability to work with others to accomplish common objectives.</li> <li>Be self-driven and seek to improve processes and solve problems under their own direction.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Who are we?</p> <p>We’re AIB.
