McIntosh Box and Pallet is hiring for 1st Shift Repair Associates in Benson NC! 

We are looking for hard working individuals with excellent attention to detail and a mechanical aptitude to join our team as 1st Shift Repair Associates in Winchester, NH. 

Shift: 7am to 3:30pm Monday to Friday 

Pay: $17 per hour

A Repair Associate will be responsible for working with wood processing equipment to inspect and repair damaged pallets so that they can be reused. 

Repair Associate's Job Responsibilities: 

• Use a pneumatic nail gun to repair and/or assemble pallets.
• Repair function: place pallet on repair table, remove defective boards, replace with new boards, and nails replaced boards into place
• Assembly function: take stock boards and nails together based on type of pallet desired.
• Troubleshoot jams and equipment problems
• Perform basic maintenance of the saw
• Operate nail gun in a safe manner
• Keep production areas clean and organized
• Adhere to company policies and safety guidelines
• Additional task as directed by your manager

Requirements

•  Requires standing for long periods of time.
• Must be able to repeatedly lift a pallet weighing 50-75 lbs.
• Nail guns must be operated with extreme care, adhering to company safety procedures
• Must have physical strength
• Excellent hand-eye coordination
• Must be focused and able to concentrate on their tasks
• Strong attention to detail
• The ability to understand and communicate information is also essential
