About the role

Description

The U.S. Peace Corps is seeking a Senior Product Specialist to enhance, modernize, and maintain the Odyssey system, which integrates Oracle E-Business Suite with custom Microsoft-based financial applications. These applications are used across 60+ field offices and headquarters, supporting essential financial operations such as obligations, invoicing, disbursements, cashiering, and real-time budgeting in multi-currency environments.


Key Responsibilities:


- Enhance and maintain the Peace Corps financial systems, focusing on systems integration, data analysis, and interface development to support financial operations.
- Provide expert guidance in business operations and data flows, helping to identify and resolve processing and data issues that arise.
- Review existing integrations and implement new solutions tailored to the needs of the Peace Corps.
- Engage in technical design, data integration, upgrades, cloud migrations, testing, documentation, disaster recovery support, and security compliance, all aligned with OCFO/FS modernization goals.
- Conduct requirements analysis and create policies, procedures, business cases, and cost justifications to drive process improvements.
- Collect and analyze requirements and measurement criteria essential for business process optimization and solution implementation.
- Apply industry-standard requirements analysis methodologies and notations, including UML and IDEF.
- Use SQL queries to analyze financial data and support the development team with financial system design, development, component integration, testing, and installation.
- Support documentation activities related to financial systems analysis, system design, process definition, optimization, and performance measurement.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in Information Systems, Business, Finance, or a related technical or functional discipline.


Experience: A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience in financial systems and business analysis.


Technical Skills:
  - Expertise in financial systems integration, SharePoint SPFx, SQL, security, cloud migration, and business process analysis.
  - Proven experience managing an enterprise-wide or large-scale integrated financial management system, including data analysis and SQL queries.

Salary Description 100,000 - 200,000
