UX Project Manager (TS Clearance)

Requirements

An Ideal Candidate Should: 

• Define the UI/UX frontend strategy for multiple applications. 
• Lead the UI/UX team and other cross-functional teams effectively. 
• Support technical and end user engagement needs. 
• Ensure timely UI product delivery according to milestone schedules. 
• Drive innovation by proposing technology and process improvements aligned with end users, program stakeholders and technical architecture roadmap. 
• Develop future roadmaps with milestones for technical deliveries to the larger program aligned with the team and customer program goals. 
• Work with the team to establish frameworks to provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to the solution. 
• Create capabilities that support mission accomplishment at multiple levels using technology demonstrations, integration of existing COTS and GOTS solutions, and development of new techniques to employ/upgrade/modify/sunset solutions. 
• Coordinate with technical development teams, UI/UX staff, and quality assurance teams in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) with Agile Scrum delivery within each Program Increment to complete product deliveries. 
• Initiate discussions and recommendations to support the customer in the development of future system concepts and mock-ups. 
• Lead and work with a team of scrum masters, release train engineers, and technical architects. 
• Play a key role in Business Development. 

Requirements 

• MUST BE A US CITIZEN. 
• MUST have an active Top-Secret clearance. 
• Must be able to work on-site (Herndon, VA) 4-5 days a week. 
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
• Extensive experience with the ability to communicate a strong understanding of UI/UX principles, including the fundamentals of crafting products with end user feedback using metrics to drive decision making/recommendations to the client. 
• 5-10 years of direct leadership experience in a technology-related program/project as a Project Manager or Product Owner. 
• Familiarity with SAFe and Agile Scrum frameworks and Scrum ceremonies. 
• Tenacity to research and resolve problems as they arise. 
• Desire to increase standards via continuous improvement across the team’s delivery within a CMMI Level 3 Development environment. 
• Ability to take full ownership over the project with minimal direction/guidance/oversight from decision makers. 
• Ability to forecast future needs and develop schedules/roadmaps/milestones for the team. 
• Strong customer engagement and communications skills. 

Desired 

• CS degree (or similar) or related experience. 
• Previous DoD experience. 
• Familiarity with DoD Cybersecurity or IA concepts/policies. 
• SAFe certified. 
• CSPO certified. 
• Scrum Master certified. 
• PMP certified. 
• Proficiency with front end frameworks including Angular and/or React. 
• Prior full stack development experience.
