Monarch Landing is Naperville’s premier Life Plan Community, conveniently located near Route 59 & Interstate 88. We are looking for a hospitality-focused Sales Counselor to join our team! This position is responsible for presenting and selling the community to prospective residents, resulting in deposits, reservations, and closings. Additionally, the Sales Counselor manages the occupancy process from the first inquiry to receipt of deposit to move-in.
Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Sales Counselor:
- Meets and exceeds personal sales expectations.
- Manages the sales process from initial inquiry to move in, by effectively promoting the community to the prospect. Facilitates the process by understanding needs and independently making recommendations based on key information provided.
- Negotiates obstacles and issues by understanding client needs and collaborating with community management.
- Effectively responds to new inquiries in a timely manner.
- Ensures that all prospect inquiries are managed and that timely follow-through is maintained in accordance with designated time frames.
- Utilizes Salesforce effectively by promptly inputting data and uses the system to manage assigned lead base.
- Uses Direct Sales Performance Indicators (DSPI’s) to set goals and diagnose areas of strength and needed improvement.
- Communicates with key influencers impacting the buying decision, to facilitate a timely commitment to the community.
- Participates in marketing events as directed by the Marketing and Sales Director.
- Understands and articulately represents all documents related to residency, including Residency Agreement, Disclosure Statement, etc.
- Keeps up to date on competition, including their strengths, weaknesses, and identify ways to overcome any objections.
- Provides feedback to community leadership regarding information learned through the sales process that may impact strategies to grow occupancy.
Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:
- Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in marketing/sales preferred.
- A minimum of two years of Senior Living Life Plan experience is preferred.
- A valid state driver's license is required.

- $32 $35/hour, commissions per sale, bonus up to 30% of annual base salary
