About the role

Provides counsel and advice to top management on significant Application Development for the cloud, Expert-level professional providing expert content/professional leadership on complex Cloud Engineering assignments/projects; exercising considerable creativity, foresight, and judgment in conceiving, planning, and delivering initiatives; uses deep professional knowledge and acumen to advise functional leaders; focuses on providing thought leadership within own discipline but works on broader projects, which require understanding of wider business; recognized internally as a subject matter expert. Assists software engineers with implementing organization's cloud strategy from a technical perspective, including design, planning, integration, maintenance and support of cloud architecture.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in crafting cloud architectures with efficiency and scalability

  • Knowledge of Azure networking, virtual networks, and VPN configurations

  • In-depth understanding: Cloud security principles, best practices, and compliance standards

  • Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates) for efficient resource provisioning

  • Certifications: AWS solutions architect or Azure Administrator. 

  • College or University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline preferred

  • Minimum 5+ years of work experience in software or web Front end and Backend service development

  • Strong desire to learn
