The Assistant QA Manager will work closely with the Quality Manager to establish a location assessment schedule. Apply today for a rewarding career with growth potential in our Edison, NJ lab.
This position requires a minimum of 5-7 years of environmental laboratory with Quality Assurance.
Identify and maintain a list of key technical challenges for each program and work with resources within Eurofins TestAmerica, or external with the programs, or other clients to establish acceptable alternative approaches or make case to challenge the requirements.
· Capture program knowledge and intelligence and establish opportunities within
· Eurofins TestAmerica for cross fertilization of the information (meetings, calls, or lead work group assignments).
· Coordinate the collection of knowledge and intelligence gained from assessment and provide a mechanism to distribute and share this information.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate would possess:
Please note- This Assistant Manager role is expected to transition into the Manager role within the next 2 years or so. Must have Environmental Laboratory experience.
· Minimum 3 years bench level analytical experience plus formal Quality Assurance training or 2 years QA experience preferred
· Environmental methodologies experience
· General environmental regulatory requirements knowledge
· Analytical laboratory techniques
· Strong time management and problem solving skills
· Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of organization, as well as with clients and outside agencies
· Ability to analyze problems and effect solutions
· Ability to prioritize
· Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
· Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
Basic Minimum Qualifications:
· BS/BA in Chemistry or related field from an accredited university
· Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
