Markel is seeking a talented and passionate front-end developer to join our team. We want a vocal advocate of agile / lean methods who is excited about creative problem-solving; will obsess over writing smart, simple clean code; will tirelessly strive for the best end-user experience and continuous improvement; and will have the drive and desire to keep learning the latest development techniques. The angular front-end developer contributes to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of business applications by providing specialized technical and business knowledge to the team.

What you'll be doing:

• Develop and maintain web applications using the latest Angular versions (v6-v17).
• Develop Angular applications using modern techniques including NgRx for state management and RxJS for reactive programming.
• Implement Behavior Subjects from RxJS to handle and manipulate multiple observable data streams in the application.
• Use RxJS operators for transforming, combining, and managing asynchronous data streams effectively.
• Experience with reactive forms in Angular.
• Work with backend developers in integrating RESTful APIs and managing data flow.
• Keep up with the latest advancements in Angular, NgRx, and RxJS.
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability while ensuring application security.

What we're looking for:

• Five+ years web development experience

Skills that make you stand out

• Azure integration experience.
• Experiencing with the PrimeNG framework.
• Experience implementing responsive UIs using components that are compatible across different browsers and devices.
• Writing test cases in Angular.
