Business Operations Manager- Cloud Infrastructure Engineering

We are looking for a Manager for Business Operations to join our Cloud Infrastructure Engineering department. Your job will be to lead all business operations, audit, and reporting activities for CIE, acting as an informed and influential member of the Operations team, and the CIE department. This person will also be a key contact for other internal departments, in particular Internal Audit, Finance, Accounting, Information Security, Compliance, Legal, Sales RFP, and Cloud Engineering and Operations Program Management Organization.

You are an organizational wizard, with a knack for data analysis and reporting results based what you find. You are passionate about assisting with large initiatives that improve the effectiveness of infrastructure/SDLC pipeline services. You are all about using data to tell the story - analytics-minded and data-driven to ensure that goals are measurable and aligned across teams with a focus on customer value. You are an effective analyst, a good communicator, and a focused collaborator for a diverse set of stakeholders and execution partners.
The Team: Our Cloud Infrastructure team at athenahealth is responsible for shaping the strategy to run technical infrastructure at massive scale. The infrastructure and pipeline services that you will be delivering will power the transformation of athenahealth products and enable the company to open the network and create the healthcare platform that enables the next generation of healthcare services.
Job Responsibilities
- Manager for business operations related initiative and operational responsibilities.
- Develop and maintain operational metrics that surface critical data for CIE, CE&O, and company leadership.
- Communicate and coordinate activities including control narrative reviews, evidence collection, walkthroughs, data center visits, remediation plans, and policy document development and review.
- Collaborate with CIE Program Management Organization on effort to operationalize flow of information from individual teams within the department into dashboards or other tracking mechanisms to ease and enhance reporting.
Typical Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of project management experience.
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience in project management and/or process
