ABOUT THE JOB:

As a critical member of the Industrial Operations team, the position responsibilities are to ensure proper loading, sorting, staging, and transporting product into and out of the warehouse. Additionally, this position will be responsible for picking, packing, and kitting of finished goods.

 

Responsibilities

ABOUT YOUR TASKS:

• Move inventory and materials throughout the warehouses using carts and/or manual pallet jacks
• Handle delicate and sensitive products with utmost care
• Prepare inventory/products for shipping out via staging
• Appropriately wrap, strap, or otherwise secure products
• Prepare, track, and complete basic paperwork needs for products and shipments
• Prepare, track, and complete all necessary work orders
• Assist in organizing inventory and processing inventory counts/audits
• Ensure workspace is neat, clean, free of debris ,and remove safety hazards
• Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

ABOUT YOU:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) equivalent required
• 1-3 years of experience in a warehousing or distribution environment
• Kitting and/or assembly experience preferred

 

SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to use hand tools
• Able to work independently and well-organized
• High attention to detail and monitors quality/quantity of inventory
• Ability to read work instructions
• Basic computer skills, MS Excel, Word, Outlook
• Basic math skills
• Ability to squat, sit, stand, walk, reach and lift up to 50 lbs. daily as required

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer/tablet, telephone, and keyboard. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work. Lifting up to 50 lbs may be required.
