Team Lead IT Support

Adyen is looking for an IT Support Team Lead who can work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment to lead our North America and LATAM team in driving operational efficiency and innovation. In this key management role, as part of the Business Infrastructure team, the IT Support Team Lead will oversee day-to-day IT support tasks and automation initiatives within our internal infrastructure and user management systems. With a strong background in macOS management and automation, we are looking for someone who will be a role model for the team members and a strategic leader passionate about elevating team productivity.

What you’ll do

• Guidance and Training:
• Provide continuous guidance and support in diagnosing and troubleshooting IT challenges.
• User Experience:
• Enable our team to support all our users in the North America and Latin America offices. 
• Continuously seek opportunities to create long-term solutions for repetitive problems our users face.
• Work closely with the Workspace Experience team to ensure a reliable, efficient office environment.
• Project Management:
• Oversee projects related to building and maintaining automation for infrastructure, user administration, and access management.
• Ensure projects are aligned with organizational priorities and the broader team based in Amsterdam.
• Documentation:
• Establish documentation standards and processes for accurately representing our processes and decisions.
• Automation Strategy:
• Support decision-making regarding selecting technologies like Ansible, Bash, and Python for automating support tasks.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Encourage a culture of continuous improvement, where the team member is empowered to suggest and implement enhancements to existing processes.
• Facilitate regular team discussions to identify improvement areas and reflect on lessons learned.

Who you are

• At least 4 years of professional experience in IT management
• Experience with managing teams in collaboration with team members in different regions and time zones
• Strong understanding of user support and user experience with macOS or Linux/UNIX-like operating systems
• Able to identify repetitive tasks and take ownership to automate and improve them with Ansible and Python
• You have a security-first mindset, with previous experience ensuring top-level infrastructure security and monitoring with a large macOS fleet.
• A puzzle solver who likes to think outside the box and solve issues by combining the different essential skills that create scalable, secure, long-term solutions
• Experience with full user lifecycle in a company, from onboarding to Offboarding, IT asset management, laptop life cycle, and IT procurement
