Within the framework of the budget and legal constraints and in accordance with the SMART Management System, he/she is responsible for implementing the various programmes to allow the unit to meet cost, deadline and quality objectives.

- Ensure all products are produced to high quality standards with a focus on bottom-line profitability and customer satisfaction 
- Responsible for overseeing all day-to-day plant operations including staffing, planning, inventory, production, and warehouse operations 
- By delegation, manage legal and social matters
