Senior Analyst

This position involves impactful work supporting the Chief of Naval Operations (OPNAV) in its N9I Directorate (Director Integrated Warfare) within its analysis, coordination, planning, and oversight functions.

This near-term opportunity is ideal for a self-starting, detail-oriented, technically and linguistically savvy individual with experience in Naval Operations; Navy planning, programming and budget management; and/or Pentagon Resource Sponsor experience.

A candidate should know the Pentagon POM (Program Objective Memorandum) process and understand warfare capabilities, needs and requirements.  The candidate will need to be able to navigate across OPNAV Directorates, establish relationships, and glean the information necessary to develop NIF (NAVPLAN (Chief of Naval Operations Navigation Plan) Integration Framework) positions for integrated warfare decision making.

Work location: Washington DC, on-site at the Pentagon

Travel: (<20%) can be expected. 

Required Experience:

• 10 years of DoD experience
• 5+ years of DoD/Navy Program and/or Requirements Management experience
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Served Navy line Executive Officer
• Final SECRET clearance, eligible for TS/SCI clearance

Desired Experience:

• Served Pentagon Tour with familiarity of OPNAV and DoD Staff Processes
• Served Navy line Commanding Officer
• Familiar with the POM process
• TS clearance, SCI Eligible
