Job Summary

Salary: $15.00 per hr

Nature of Work: 

The Amway Center is looking for an experienced Zamboni/Olympia seasonal driver, during ice events and Hockey games, but can also work other events if available. Must have knowledge of ice maintenance, rink system required; chiller system preferred.
 
Work Schedule: Hours vary, and will include holidays, nights and weekends.

Minimum Requirements

Must be 18 years of age of older. High School diploma or equivalent, plus one year experience with ice maintenance and operating ice resurfacer required. Ability to follow written and oral direction. Must be able to work nights and weekends and in a cold air environment. A valid Florida Driver’s License required.
 
VALID DRIVER LICENSE FROM ANY STATE MUST BE PRESENTED AT TIME OF INTERVIEW. VALID FLORIDA DRIVER LICENSE MUST BE PRESENTED WITHIN 30 DAYS OF HIRE.

THIS IS A PART_TIME_POSITION WITH NO GUARANTEE OF A CERTAIN NUMBER OF HOURS AND NO BENEFITS. THIS POSITION INVOLVES WORKING ON A TEMP/SEASONAL CONTRACT WHICH CAN BE RENEWED ANNUALLY BASED ON PERFORMANCE AND BUSINESS NEEED.

If this posting indicates a degree is required, the following experience will apply in lieu of any degree as follows:

• Two (2) years of direct experience for an associate degree;
• Four (4) years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree;
• Six (6) years of direct experience for a master's degree; or
• Nine (9) years of direct experience for a doctoral degree.
