Bench Joiner

Are you a skilled Bench Joiner who takes pride in creating exceptional bespoke joinery? Do you enjoy transforming high-quality materials into beautifully crafted finished products?

Our client, a well-established and highly regarded joinery company based in St Ives, is looking for an experienced professional to join their growing workshop team on a full-time, permanent basis. Working Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm.

As a Bench Joiner, you will play a key role in the production of bespoke joinery projects, taking them from initial preparation through to final assembly. Working within a modern and well-equipped workshop, your responsibilities will include:

* Cutting, shaping, and preparing timber to precise specifications

* Manufacturing and assembling bespoke joinery items ready for installation

* Reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans accurately

* Managing multiple projects while maintaining high standards and deadlines

* Adapting designs and specifications to meet individual client requirements

* Monitoring material stock levels and reporting shortages or quality concerns

To be successful in this role, you will have:

* Proven experience as a Bench Joiner within a bespoke joinery environment

* Strong knowledge of traditional craftsmanship alongside modern joinery techniques

* Confidence using a wide range of hand tools and power tools

* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work

* A good understanding of Health & Safety practices within a workshop environment

* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
