About our team

 

Welcome to the FX/Derivatives Sales & Research team. We add value by supporting Nordea’s clients with advice, trading and research across currencies and interest rates. 
The team is located at the heart of the Nordea Metro trading floor in Copenhagen, where you have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment together with some of the most dedicated people in the industry.

As an Analyst or Senior Analyst focused on FX and interest rate solutions you will have a key role in advising clients on all aspects of currency and interest rate risk management, ranging from structuring and pricing of hedging, via digital and automated solutions, to risk calculations, market strategy and trade ideas.

What you’ll be doing

 

Main responsibilities in this role:

• Analyse customer needs, prepare client presentations and propose and present risk management solutions
• Assist the team in structuring hedging solutions for mainly corporate customers on FX and interest rate related risks, including idea generation, risk analysis, structuring and preparation of pitch material
• Analyse data and develop models to support the business
• Drive scalable and practical risk solutions towards mainly corporates
• Work together with clients and Nordea’s specialists to truly understand our clients’ needs, solve their challenges and create business opportunities for Nordea
• For the right candidate this role offers a unique mandate where you get a lot of freedom to influence and develop our offering and interact with clients from your first week

Who you are

 

This is the right role for you if you have: 

• Strong interest in financial markets,
• Proactive, curious and commercial attitude with a positive and goal oriented mindset
• Excellent social and collaboration skills
• Great communication skills, both written and spoken, in Danish and English
• Capability of combining financial theory with business opportunities
• Good customer understanding and are able to identify and understand customers’ challenges and financial exposures, and bridge these with our broad line of solutions

 

Your background and skills include: 

• Business school or University degree
• Understanding of financial markets and macroeconomics
• Practical experience from working with corporate treasuries, e.g. from working in a Corp
