We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Java Software Engineer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development, as well as experience with JavaScript and JSP (JavaServer Pages). As a Java Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that meet our high standards of quality and performance. This is a 6 month contract to hire and requires an active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code.
- Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, testing, and deployment.
- Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of applications.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge.
