System Engineer (Active Directory)- Top Secret Clearance

Job Description
<p>- Design, implement, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure system architecture<br />
- Lead and participate in the planning, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure components<br />
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement new technologies to maximize efficiency and performance<br />
- Troubleshoot complex issues and provide technical support and guidance<br />
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and applications<br />
- Create and maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for all implemented systems and processes including AD architecture diagrams, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and troubleshooting guides</p>
Qualifications

<p>- Proven experience as a System Engineer or similar role with in-depth knowledge of Active Directory architecture, components, and services<br />
- Proficiency in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Active Directory Domain Services, including domains, forests, trusts, and replication<br />
- Experience in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to manage user and computer configurations across the network <br />
- Knowledge of implementing and managing Active Directory Federation Services for single sign-on (SSO) and authentication across organizational boundaries <br />
- Understanding of Active Directory Certificate Services for managing certificates and encryption within the customer environment<br />
- Strong understanding of Active Directory security concepts, including authentication mechanisms, access controls, and auditing<br />
- Experience in implementing and managing identity and access management solutions using Active Directory <br />
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex Active Directory related issues, such as replication problems, authentication failures, and performance bottlenecks <br />
- Experience in monitoring Active Directory performance and metrics and implementing optimizations to improve system reliability and efficiency <br />
- Expertise in designing network infrastructure, storage solutions, server configurations, and virtualization environments<br />
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.)<br />
- Experience in deploying and configuring operating systems (Windows, Linux) and ensuring interoperability between different components of the IT infrastructure<br />
- Proficient with scripting and automation tools (PowerShell)<br />
- Knowledge in several third party products and how they integrate with and utilize Active Directory <br />
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze and resolve complex infrastructure issues<br />
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders<br />
- Knowledge of security best practices, threat detection, and mitigation strategies to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data<br />
- Relevant certifications (8570 compliant)<br />
