In this context we are looking for a Head of Logistics - Americas, to join our warehousing and distribution team near Dulles Airport in Sterling, VA.

This role will involve some travel for business, approximately 20 %, internationally, and domestically.

ABOUT YOU

You’re equipped with a logistics/supply chain management or comparable education, coupled with 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management or equivalent Materials Management, and expert level leadership abilities. We are looking for you!  A team player with the following experience, skills and mindset:

Required

• 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management or equivalent Materials Management. 

• 5 years of supervisory experience inclusive of a candidate's total experience.

• Strong knowledge in materials management, warehouse and transportation operations.

• Mentor employees, instill a quality culture, and encourage natural career growth

• Be adept with conflict management, team building skills and motivational leadership

Preferred

• Knowledge about the aerospace aftermarket, customer services and after sales operations in the aviation industry.

• Customer-focused, with strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

• Proven team player with the ability to align diverse stakeholder interests and succeed in a matrixed, multicultural, and hybrid work environment.
