Senior Military Operations Analyst – GMD Lead

Prevailance, Inc. is seeking a seasoned and highly capable Senior Military Operations Analyst – Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Lead to provide leadership and subject matter expertise in support of GMD certification, evaluation, and exercise operations. This critical role contributes directly to national defense readiness by supporting assessments, operational planning, and exercise execution aligned with the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command (USASMDC) mission. 

Primary Duties include, but not limited to:

• Serve as Task Lead for Certification and Evaluation Support of GMD operations at Schriever SFB, CO and Fort Greely, AK
• Plan, resource, and conduct certification assessments for GMD crews
• Support brigade-level certification events and EXEVALs by developing Master Scenario Event Lists (MSELs) and other exercise products
• Lead Military Decision Making Process (MDMP) efforts, provide briefings, and prepare professional-level operational writing for USASMDC GMD mission areas
• Provide strategic recommendations to update and improve the Command’s Standards & Evaluations Program with a focus on GMD, and support other mission areas as required
• Conduct exercise planning, support, execution, and documentation
• Interface with senior DoD leaders and stakeholders to ensure effective program execution and alignment with operational goals

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Seven (7+) years of experience as a GMD operator and/or planner 
• Advanced military education (e.g., NCO Education System, Battle Staff, Officer Education System)
• Completion of GMD Qualification Course (GQC), Missile Defense Officer Qualification Course (MDOQC), and Army GMD Staff Officer Course
• Familiarity with AN/TPY-2 radar systems operating in Forward-Based Mode (FBM)
• Demonstrated ability to support Radar Operators and Sensor Manager Operational Readiness Evaluations (OREs)
• Working knowledge of GMD operations, equipment, and operations software applications used by GMD crews
• Strong understanding of GMD planning fundamentals and how GMD capabilities support the Warfighter
• Experience in GMD staff operations, including MDE and FDC support, and Tier 1 GMD exercise planning
• Brigade or higher-level staff experience with operations order development and execution
• Professional experience in Army-standard writing, briefings, and presentations
• U.S. Citizenship

Desired Qualifications:

• Prior assignments with:
  • U.S. Space Command (USSPACECOM)
  • U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM)
  • U.S. Northern Command (USNORTHCOM)
  • 1st Space Brigade
  • 100th Ground-Based Missile Defense (GMD)
• Familiarity with Space Operations or broader Missile Defense Operations
• Understanding of the USASMDC organizational structure and rank/grade hierarchy

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in any discipline

Clearance:

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI Clearance
