Description
The Customer Success Field Service Specialist is responsible for ensuring seamless installation, configuration, and maintenance of Fieldin’s systems while fostering strong customer relationships. Acting as a trusted partner to growers, this role combines technical expertise with excellent customer-facing interactions to drive satisfaction and adoption of smart technology in agriculture. Reporting to the Director of Customer Operations, the specialist collaborates with peers and support teams to deliver exceptional service, all while adhering to OSHA and industry standards. Key Responsibilities
- Act as team member in the respective territory
- Daily communication with local technician lead to ensure operational efficiency
- Following and participating in directives & product updates
- Quality control of work performed in the region
- Manage equipment stock and enforce team vehicle organization
- Conduct site surveys & engagements with clients
- Accurately cataloging customer’s equipment cross-referencing Fieldin’s agreement equipment list
- Excellent communication w/ customers and providing information to team regarding customer status
- Take part in designing solutions and standardizing technical activities
- Creating, implementing, and maintaining best practices
- Contribute expertise with product installations and services
- Adhere to and oversee compliance to safety and quality standards
- Install Fieldin’s systems on end-users’ farming equipment
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and solve hardware malfunctions
- Assemble and prepare hardware for installation, manage inventory and reporting
- Ensure all installations are up to company and industry standards within FieldIn protocols
- Develop a thorough understanding of Fieldin products
- Troubleshoot any technical issues the customer may encounter, gather feedback from them to inform future product development, and continually prove the value of Fieldin’s technology
- Work closely with our Support team to address issues with hardware and/or software, Document & report information as required
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Bi-lingual Spanish is preferred
- Mechanical experience with high technical skills
- Strong interpersonal, oral and written skills
- Agriculture machinery background is preferred
- Prior experience in a customer service role is preferred
- Able to lift greater than 60lbs
- Experience with automotive electronics; wire soldering, 12V devices
- Self-motivated and a team player
- Must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to travel domestically (up to ~ 25% of time)
- Ability to work well with remote staff
