About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Consumer Risk Programs Quality and Standards leader to lead the team responsible for front-line governance of the Fair Lending and Customer Treatment horizontal programs including CRA and HMDA data quality and submission for Wells Fargo. 


In this role, you will:

  • Manage and develop multiple business functional areas with focus on implementing and delivering long-term strategies, policies, and process advancements for cross-functional stakeholders, and internal and external partners associated with the area of Business Execution or who are affected by its outcomes
  • Identify Business Execution opportunities and strategies for process improvement and risk control development over the long-term in order to ensure operational excellence and process efficiency
  • Lead Business Execution team for assigned initiatives ensuring solutions are designed, integrated, and controlled to improve effectiveness, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate
  • Interpret and develop a range of policies and procedures for long-range and fundamental retooling of perspective, approach, culture, quality, relationships, operations, and capabilities
  • Collaborate and influence functional management to obtain resources, influence outcomes, address conflict, and ensure alignment with Wells Fargo strategies or policies and business line objectives
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Business Execution
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
  • Accountable for managing the team responsible for enterprise data quality and data submission to the regulator that oversees our Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) program, Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HDMA) program, Dodd- Frank 1071 results.
  • Establishes standards for both the Fair Lending and Customer Treatment front-line horizontal risk programs, monitors performance to established standards, influences performance improvements and/or escalates as necessary. 
  • Accountable for managing the team responsible for qualifying lending, investment, and community development service transactions for CRA eligibility.   

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, including Management or leadership experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 4+ years of management or leadership experience
  • Deep knowledge and experience of CRA regulations, running bank-wide CRA programs, guiding organizations on CRA-eligible transactions, leading CRA data integrity and performance exams.  
  • Understanding of Fair Lending and Customer Treatment regulations. 


Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience leading and implementing complex enterprise programs to comply with new or changing regulations. 
  • Strong communication and influence skills; experience communicating with senior/executive leaders to establish targets, monitor performance and develop strategies to improve performance. 
  • Demonstrated history of independence in decision-making.
  • Experience establishing standards across multiple regulations for BG/EF to follow, monitoring performance, gathering info/data to report progress/performance to BG/EF leaders.
  •  Experience developing/recommending strategies to improve enterprise performance, influencing/assisting BG/EF partners to execute against recommendations.  
  • Experience in decision-making that has enterprise impact and influence

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$185,000.00 - $300,000.00
