About the Role
Based in Jessup MD, the Accounts Payable Associate position is responsible for processing vendor invoices accurately and timely and communicating with vendors about invoices and payments
What You’ll Do
- Process Accounts Payable Invoices from Vendors
- Assist in the streamlining and automation of invoice processing.
- Dealing with vendor queries
- Reconciling monthly vendor statements
- Co-ordination of invoice matching with receipts
- Resolving AP invoice differences between invoice, receipt, and purchase order
- General accounting admin assistance
Additional Expectation
- Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy.
- Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations, and market demands.
- Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System.
- Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, or any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service.
What You’ll Bring
- Associate degree or equivalent; additional education in accounting or finance is preferred.
- Proven experience in an Accounts Payable in a similar role.
- Knowledge of accounts payable processes and procedures.
- Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
