ROLE SUMMARY
The Consumer Partnership Innovation Lead is an opportunity to enable strategic partnerships to create frictionless patient experiences that build trust and accelerate our ability to deliver breakthroughs that change patient lives.
This is a new role within CMO organization, reporting into the Patient and HCP Innovation Lead. This role is responsible for US partnerships across 3-5 strategic external partners, coordinating closely with Strategy and Insights leads and other cross-functional partners. They will unlock new offerings and go-to-market models to drive business growth and achieve our aspiration to be the best marketers of science and technology and to make Pfizer the most trusted brand.
- In collaboration with their supervisor and strategy partners, the role will support customer sessions to drive, identify and refine key initiatives to enable Pfizer innovation growth.
- This individual will also be responsible for exploring and implementing cutting-edge technologies with partners to enhance consumer facing solutions.
- Evaluate potential strategic partners that align with our goals and audiences.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with these strategic development partners, serving as the point of contact for innovation initiatives.
- Monitor and track to ensure progress toward joint business plans with partners that align with our objectives and drive performance and value from our partners in line with our strategic goals.
- Analyze data and provide regular reports on the effectiveness of partnership activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams across the organization to align partnership activities with broader business strategies.
- Ensure seamless integration of innovation partnership initiatives into overall marketing plans.
- Keep up to date with the latest developments in the industry, the actions of competitors, and the new possibilities and lead the way in knowledge and innovation inside and outside the organization.
- Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of relevant experience in positions within the innovation healthcare ecosystem with proven track record
- Bachelor's degree
- Ability to build close relationships with industry leading partners to drive innovative partnership opportunities.
- Experience working and leading relationships with partners, agencies, and Brand teams.
- Track record of strong networking and working collaboratively across functions, geographies, and companies (e.g., with external partners) to drive forward innovation.
- Experience as part of product development and/or cross-functional teams.
- Deep understanding of the healthcare ecosystem .
- Role model for the PFE Values (Courage, Excellence, Equity, Joy) .
- Strong situational leadership skills & the ability to lead through influence in cross-functional & highly matrixed teams.
- Strong writing and presentation skills, with the demonstrated ability to effectively influence senior leaders and colleagues at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrate ability to thrive under pressure, to take accountability and to meet deadlines.
- Discretion and trustworthiness in dealing with confidential information.
