Athenix Test Engineer

We are looking for Test Engineers variety of roles to support the test and evaluation of software and hardware systems assisting in the defense of our nation. We have roles for Test Engineers to work individually or as part of a team. 

 

 Do you have skills and experience in some of the following areas? 

• Conduct research into and apply knowledge of Government test and evaluation concepts and related engineering, acquisition, and operations activities as needed to support the T&E activities 
• Leading or experience implementing a software development test effort
• Supporting an Agile software development effort
• Implementing an automated testing framework
• Developing or supporting development in Linux and Windows based applications and environments
• Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) strategy development,
• Test planning to include advise on design and implementation of test and evaluation strategies,
• Leadership for technical reviews on Systems Engineering/Testing artifacts, and prepare comments and recommendations,
• Participation in reviews of systems and elements under development to ensure traceability of requirements,
• Engagement with Government’s procured development test team on test planning, feature mapping, bug fixes, technical debt,
• Awareness of status and schedule of programs of interest,
• Monitoring of program preparation and execution of comprehensive test and evaluation plans, procedures, and schedules,
• Coordination to ensure system integration, test, evaluation, and transition activities remain aligned across all stakeholders,
• Recommendations of necessary changes in testing configurations, testing procedures, testing process, or new testing requirements,
• Providing the Government with IV&V assisting during testing activities, and
• Planning for and monitoring of interoperability testing.

Minimum Requirements 

Active Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph is required 

 

Education: Positions available no matter where you are in your career! 

 

Entry Level – Bachelor's degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management or related discipline, and no or minimal experience (Note: even without a degree experience can qualify you for this level with 4 years of relevant experience) 

Basic Level – Bachelor's degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management or related discipline, and 4 years of relevant experience 

Mid Level – Bachelor's degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management or related discipline, and 6 years of relevant experience 

Senior Level - Bachelor's degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management or related discipline, and 8 years of relevant experience
