Position Overview: This Associate Product Management role offers an exciting opportunity to begin your career in the cannabis industry. You'll work closely with our commercialization team to support product development, market research, project and packaging initiatives while learning the fundamentals of project management in a regulated industry. 

 

Primary Responsibilities:  

Product Development Support  

• Assist in managing product development timelines and project schedules  

• Support new product launches and product improvement initiatives through stage gate process 

• Create product and packaging documentation and specifications  

• Coordinate product sampling and testing processes  

• Take notes during product development meetings and track action items 

• Help organize and maintain product development files and databases  

Market Research & Analysis 

• Gather and organize market research data  

• Track competitor products and create competitive analysis reports  

• Support consumer research initiatives  

• Help monitor industry trends and create regular market updates  

• Assist in analyzing product performance data  

• Create and maintain product performance dashboards  

Project Coordination  

• Support cross-functional team meetings and follow up on action items  

• Help coordinate between R&D, manufacturing, and marketing teams  

• Assist in maintaining project timelines  

• Support packaging development projects  

• Help prepare presentation materials for product reviews  

• Assist with product compliance documentation 

• Support packaging and product development with hands on coordination and implementation of projects 

• Lead sourcing for packaging and devices – including bidding for volume and price 

 

Required Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Marketing, or related field  

• 2-4 years of product management experience, preferably in CPG or regulated industries  

• Strong organizational and analytical skills  

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Asana, Microsoft 365 

• Excellent attention to detail  

• Strong written and verbal communication skills 

• Experience working with external vendors 

 

Preferred Qualifications:  

• Experience in cannabis or regulated industries
