La Posada Hotel is looking for enthusiastic and guest-focused Restaurant Food Servers/Waitstaff to provide exceptional dining experiences. We are looking for friendly, attentive, and professional individuals who are passionate about providing outstanding customer service. This role ensures guests are served promptly and professionally while fostering a welcoming atmosphere.

Where You Can Make an Impact:

• Greet guests and guide them through the dining experience.
• Take accurate orders and communicate them effectively to the kitchen.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
• Handle cash and process payment accurately. 
• Follow all safety and sanitation polies and procedures. 
• Respond to guest inquiries and accommodate special requests.
• Ensure tables are clean, organized, and properly set.
• Process payments and maintain accurate billing records.
• Collaborate with the team to provide seamless service.
• Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and address concerns proactively.
• Assist with opening and closing duties as needed.

Requirements

Education/Formal Training:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have Food Handlers and TABC certification. 

Experience:

• Previous experience in food service, customer service, or hospitality role preferred.

Knowledge/Skills:

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights 
• Knowledge of basic food and beverage handling procedures.
• Positive attitude and teamwork orientation.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills and a professional demeanor.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards is a plus.
• Positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
