🛠 What You'll Do as a Dental Assistant II
You’ll play a hands-on role in creating a smooth, high-quality care experience for every patient. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting dentists during chairside procedures across a variety of services
- Preparing rooms and materials in advance of appointments
- Managing sterilization of instruments and post-op cleaning
- Educating patients on post-treatment care and procedures
- Presenting treatment plans and explaining insurance estimates
- Documenting in patient charts with accuracy and professionalism
- Tracking clinical supplies and supporting inventory needs
- Being a positive and adaptable team player every step of the way
Requirements
✅ What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking dental assistants who bring skill, warmth, and dependability. Ideal qualifications include:
- Dental Assistant Training or equivalent required
- 2–5 years of experience preferred
- CDA certification or completion of a CODA-accredited program
- Completion of NC Radiological equivalency exam (or eligible)
- CPR certification, or willingness to certify within 30 days
- Experience with Eaglesoft or Denticon is a plus
- Strong communication skills and professional presentation
- Ability to work with efficiency, empathy, and attention to detail
- Flexibility and a can-do attitude to support team and patient needs
