Full-Time | Monday–Thursday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM | Friday 8:00 AM–2:00 PM

🛠 What You'll Do as a Dental Assistant II

You’ll play a hands-on role in creating a smooth, high-quality care experience for every patient. Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting dentists during chairside procedures across a variety of services
  • Preparing rooms and materials in advance of appointments
  • Managing sterilization of instruments and post-op cleaning
  • Educating patients on post-treatment care and procedures
  • Presenting treatment plans and explaining insurance estimates
  • Documenting in patient charts with accuracy and professionalism
  • Tracking clinical supplies and supporting inventory needs
  • Being a positive and adaptable team player every step of the way

Requirements

✅ What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking dental assistants who bring skill, warmth, and dependability. Ideal qualifications include:

  • Dental Assistant Training or equivalent required
  • 2–5 years of experience preferred
  • CDA certification or completion of a CODA-accredited program
  • Completion of NC Radiological equivalency exam (or eligible)
  • CPR certification, or willingness to certify within 30 days
  • Experience with Eaglesoft or Denticon is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and professional presentation
  • Ability to work with efficiency, empathy, and attention to detail
  • Flexibility and a can-do attitude to support team and patient needs
