JOB TITLE: Senior Product Owner - Mortgages Data Lab, Homes Platform

LOCATION: Halifax

HOURS: Full time

WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in an office site mentioned above

About this opportunity

We're looking for a Product Owner who can lead us on a transformational journey to unlock the huge untapped data potential of the largest mortgage lender in Europe.

We're at the beginning of this journey so you'll be responsible for shaping, building and leading robust and curious teams to maintain and deliver data products and services to transform our business.

Currently our data is managed through legacy, often disconnected strategies and methodologies.  The implementation of modern strategies and cloud-based technologies will enable Lloyds Banking Group to release huge value to our customers, colleagues and the organisation, such as: more personalised customer journeys, more intuitive pricing strategies, removal of legacy technical debt, leading to more responsive applications and services that are available when our customers and colleagues need them, the list goes on.

What you’ll need

• You’re able to set, communicate and generate excitement to a clear and engaging vision through excellent leadership and removing ambiguity

• You've strong business and commercial acumen – you’ve a drive to deliver better, faster and cheaper and influence successfully to prioritise complex customer needs

• You've had experience in delivery of data technology change across software and infrastructure

• You understand modern data strategy, such as the producer / consumer model and creating data products in order to release value

• You’re able to educate both technical and non-technical stakeholders on the importance of: modern data strategies, good data quality and governance

• You're a strong influencer able to align across the organization

And any of these would be really useful...

• You're experienced in working in an Agile delivery environment at scale

• You’ve had proven experience of building and shaping new agile teams

• You’ve experienced working in the Financial sector and more specifically within mortgages
