JOB DESCRIPTION:
Our Regulatory Affairs, Operations Professional Development Program (RAOPDP) is an entry-level, three-year rotation program designed to offer hands-on experience while promoting personal and professional growth.
As a member of RAOPDP you will:
- Be a regular full-time employee of Abbott Laboratories and qualify for the same competitive salary and benefits as other Abbott employees.
- Assume full responsibility and contribute as a functional regulatory affairs professional.
- Rotate through three challenging, demanding, and diverse assignments.
- Develop a well-rounded skill set through assignments in the established learning tracks (see below) for the program.
- Relocate to various sites to experience assignment diversity and operations.
- Work within multiple functional areas during your rotational program at Abbott.
- Have the opportunity to explore possible crossover assignments within other Regulatory and Operations Programs (i.e. Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety).
- Be paired with a mentor to assist in the development of your regulatory professional career, with defined opportunities to build experience and growth through increasing challenges and levels of responsibility through successive rotations.
- Create a personalized growth plan to serve as a step-by-step guide towards the experiences, knowledge and resources necessary to achieve your career goals.
- Obtain training customized to support your individual growth and development.
- Report to a department manager in each assignment who will oversee your day-to-day responsibilities.
RAOPDP Rotations:
- Technical and Introductory Rotation
- Specified Ops/RA Rotation
- International Rotation
Requirements:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, General Engineering or a Life Sciences Major.
- Engineering related internship/co-op/work experience.
- Strong academic performance and extracurricular achievement. Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and proven track record of teamwork, adaptability, innovation, initiative, and integrity.
- Qualified candidates must be interested in pursuing careers in Regulatory Affairs.
- Ideal candidates will have no more than one year of work experience post-graduation to qualify for the entry-level program.
The base pay for this position is
$50,000.00 – $100,000.00In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
